Biography

Katrina Breese joined PDK International in July 2016 as the Senior Director of Development and Engagement. Prior to PDK, Katrina was Director of Leadership Giving at the Inova Health Foundation for three years, supporting Northern Virginia’s largest non-profit healthcare system. At Inova, Katrina led the major gift fundraising efforts for a variety of service lines including the Women’s and Children’s Hospitals, securing five, six and seven figure gifts.

Katrina began her career in development at the Asian and Pacific Islander American Scholarship Fund (APIASF). As Director of Development she led APIASF’s comprehensive fundraising efforts. There she worked with Fortune 100 corporations, private foundations and individuals to increase charitable revenue and nearly double the size of the scholarship program. Prior to APIASF, Katrina worked for George Washington University Medical Center’s development office and in marketing for the Advisory Board Company.

Katrina has a bachelor’s degree in International Affairs from The George Washington University. She and her husband live in South Riding, VA with their young son.
